Your friend’s birthday is two weeks from now, and you are in charge of the venue. If you consider an outdoor celebration, then you should be looking for tents by now. This is where a tent rental comes in very handy.

Outdoor celebrations like wedding and birthdays usually require renting tents more than purchasing. These celebrations are only held once in a year or lifetime, so it will be practical to simply rent than purchase. In renting a tent, you can choose among the five different types: high peaked frame tent, traditional pole tents, traditional frame tent, high peaked tension tents, and clearspan tent structures.

High peaked tents are excellent for small gatherings. Available in 10′, 15′ & 20′ widths, this type of tent has standing construction with no inner support poles. It is usually made of reinforced vinyl or vinyl coated canvas stretched over an aluminum frame. Because it has no center poles, the inside area of the tent is unobstructed and leaves only minimal damage during lawn installation.

Traditional pole tents are the most cost-effective of all tents. Such type of tent can be easily erected yet cannot be installed using weights. It is considered as the grandfather of the tent industry and was the only type of tent available before. Although pole-supported tents have lost ground to newer designs, these remain popular in the United States.

Traditional frame tents are the most commonly used tents for any outdoor celebrations. Like high peaked frames, it is also a freestanding structure without any interior poles. These tents are usually built with adjustable heights to accommodate changes in elevation. Traditional frame tent rentals are available in 10′, 12′, 15′, 20′, 30′, and 40′ widths with expandable designs.

High peaked tension tents are used for upscale celebrations such as debuts and weddings. This type of tent usually comes in white or see-through materials depending on the celebration.  High peaked tension tent rentals are visually stunning inside and out and include high quality engineered design to defy the elements such as optional windows.

Clearspan tent structures are excellent tent rentals for large receptions. Also known as box-beam framework, clearspan tents can be installed using either support poles around the perimeter of the tent or weights if needed. These can also be spread up to 164 feet wide and are wind and weather-resistant.
