Being the third largest city in Texas and the ninth largest city in the United States Dallas, Texas is prime real estate. Commercial real estate in Dallas is especially sought after. Many major corporations are housed in the area and new businesses start daily. As of 2010 the Dallas-Fort Worth-Arlington metropolitan area had a population of roughly 6.5 million making it the largest metropolitan area in the South and the fourth largest in the US.

Dallas commercial real estate is a hot market with many contributing factors including:

Large Up-Scale Communities: Dallas is especially noted for large communities both new and established. Communities such as Highland Park and University Park offer residents homes priced into the millions. Dallas is also noted for some wonderful school districts such as Melissa Independent School District which is one of the highest in the nation. Residents are involved in the communities making them a wonderful place to raise children.

Many of the Dallas communities offer community amenities such as a swimming pool, country club, and tennis courts. Communities are very nicely planned with parks and hiking trails with many special events for the residents. The housing market in Dallas is also one of the strongest housing markets in the nation with investments with high return. Because of the Dallas communities and the population of the city, commercial real estate tends to be in higher demand over other states within the United States.

Good Economy: Of the states in the United States, Texas economy is remarkable. With many young professionals moving to the states, families and retirement the communities in Dallas gives a very nice mix of every style of living. Many of the areas in Dallas have an average home income that ranges $ 80,000 or more. Being an exceptional income location is another reason for Dallas commercial real estate to be higher in demand than other areas in the United States. Experts predict that the economy will continue to grow expanding Dallas workforce.

Business and Culture Center: Dallas is both a culture and business center that houses many major corporate headquarters as well as the presence of many national and international companies. Dallas is a wonderful mix of arts, cuisine, entertainment and business and holds the winning title for the most shopping centers per capita and the city with the most restaurants per capita in the United States.

Tourism: Dallas, Texas is a wonderful tourist attraction. Annually millions visit the city which houses luxurious resorts, lodges and cabins, amusements parks, lakes, skiing, wonderful cuisine, museums and many special events. Being a billion dollar industry, Dallas is prime commercial real estate.

Dallas is truly remarkable. It has and has always had one of the strongest economies in the United States. During the recession Dallas held strong. With the current down slide in the housing market, Dallas did not fall as where some States in the US such as Nevada were hard hit with many neighborhoods actually becoming ghost towns. For the business, Dallas is hot with a large population, high incomes and a strong economy.
